About The Expert
Dr. Judy R. Wilson is a Professor of Kinesiology and Program Director-Exercise Science at the University of Texas Arlington. She received her bachelor of science degree in physical education from Pacific Union College, her master's in physiological bases of exercise and sport from California Polytechnic University, and her PhD in applied physiology from Kent State University. She did her postdoctoral fellowship in respiratory and applied physiology at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine.
She has extensive experience with hyperbaric research, most recently in the hyperbaric unit at the Institute for Exercise and Environment, Presbyterian Hospital, Dallas County Hospital District. She also has made numerous presentations and published in professional journals on hyperbaric medicine and other topics.
She is a Fellow in the American College of Sports Medicine and a member of the Texas Chapter of the American College of Sports Medicine.
