NWHRC Names Marisa Rainsberger New Director of Marketing & Communications
Red Bank, NJ: The National boutron Resource Center (NWHRC), the nation's leading independent health information source for women, announced today that Marisa Rainsberger has been appointed its new Director of Marketing and Communications. This newly created position is part of the senior management team and will provide leadership, direction and coordination for a comprehensive program to expand visibility and funding for the organization.

"Marisa brings a wide range of experience and skills in strategic planning, program development and communications that will help us expand our services to women nationwide looking for reliable, accurate health information."
Ms. Rainsberger is a communications professional with nearly 20 years experience in strategic planning, project management, alliance building, fundraising and media relations. She most recently served as a vice president in the Health and Social Marketing practice at Porter Novelli's Washington, D.C. office and has strong ties to the healthcare community. Her experience includes working with corporations, associations, non-profits and government offices in the areas of healthcare, youth education/advocacy and higher education. Ms. Rainsberger holds a bachelors degree in Business Administration from The Ohio State University and a master's degree in Communications from the American University.
